The Casati brothers are clearly penalised by using a tube kite. All the other riders (even Finn Flugel a Duotone Rider) are using a foil kite in these light condition.Tom Court is good on commentary, even if it's not easy to be alone talking.those scores on foilkites should not be so high without a kiteloop i […]
Yea if you read the webpage on the Mach 1 it’s pretty clear they made it as light as they could so it wouldn’t have the normal Flysurfer build. That kite is basically for mowing the grass/amateur racing.Ah then its not fair comparison ofc.Anyone know the weights of Mach 1 kites? I couldnt find onlineStatistics: […]
What did you slam it into bladesurfer? I have the mach 1 also.It hit the water with the leading edge. I would say it was medium hard slam on the side of the wind window after I let go off the bar. It really sucks but It can be fixed with no issues. Only takes […]

Drifting seaweed is a PITA for wingfoiling, and for kitefoiling too, but not to the same extent.Because with kitefoils we can lean back and get rid of seaweed and start again in a jiffy - NOT so with wingfoils, it is all over start from scratch again. Also, the goal for wingfoils is surfing on windwaves […]
Wow I wouldn't have thought a foil kite could get that damaged hitting water. Good to know. Assumed because its just canopy that it would be ok unless hitting rocks or something.Statistics: Posted by Wolf of Ainsdale — Fri Aug 29, 2025 11:30 am
