DC has a bad reputation in the pump board scene with lots of them snapping/bending. I think they're just about OK for kite foil but HC definitely stronger.Statistics: Posted by Oldman_Dave — Sun May 18, 2025 10:45 pm
Still in good shape, thefabric holds the pressure quite good for the age and the kite could directly go to the next session. There is one pin hole which never disturbed me.mostly used on land snow or sweetwater.More Pictures on request.550 EurStatistics: Posted by sodamixer — Sun May 18, 2025 10:35 pm
These remind me of the Orca fins. Both are something out of the ordinary. https://orcafin.surfNow add these fins to the mix for the kitesurfers out there. https://quobbafins.com/collections/kite ... bI6_E0UUYDI want to see reviews on all of these fins. The only thing the kite market is missing is a truly low price option that people trust (~1k). I hear too much sketchy stuff about Gongs customer service and business model to consider that. I was hoping this could be it but he is directly competing with North at these price points. I give it […]
The thing I don't get: if you are learning to kite on the water, using a TT, then perhaps you should focus on that before trying foiling. If you're finding it hard to avoid dropping the kite on a TT, you'll find it that much more difficult when you're learning on a foil. If I […]
I have a DC V2 110 ....... Love the board , it's forgiving to touchdowns and easy to use, it's helped my confidence and quickened my progression.... If I had to replace, I think at 68kg I might buy the 100. I have found the DC fragile however, I have had to repair damage on […]
My one--strut liquid force solos were not at all exceptional kites for twin-tip riding, but they were reasonably adequate and jumped reasonably well as long as ridden more at the middle of their wind range, which was lower than 3+ strut lei kites of the same size. They drifted well enough for surfboard riding and foiling, […]
Its a question of what u want to do foiling if u really need a kite that drifts well. 3 struts jump a lot better on foil too. I do fine with something that loops fast. Flying more forward in the windwindow makes 360 easy too...Just surfing the waves on foil u might have some […]
Agree with downunder. One strut, well at least foil specific kites are NOT sitting deep in the window - that's exactly what noone wants. They have to be agile and fly forward, which most of them do. As grunt is the worst thing when foiling You must have had some dogs in this respect Nak PeterHmmm. […]
